which describes a static, planar domain wall stretched along the x = 0 plane. Here Φ0 = M/(2 √ λ) denotes one of the two vacuum values of the field Φ — the other one is equal to −Φ0. The parameter M can be identified with the mass of the scalar particle related to the field Φ. The corresponding Compton length l0 = M −1 gives the physical length scale in the model. Energy density for the planar domain wall (2) is exponentially localised in a vicinity of the x = 0 plane. The transverse width of the domain wall is of the order 2l0. The issue is time evolution of a non-planar domain wall. Such domain walls can be infinite, consider, e.g., locally deformed planar domain wall or a cylindrical domain wall. They can also be finite closed, e.g., like a sphere or a torus. We shall restrict our considerations to a single large, smooth

Modeling and investigating the effect of ultrasound waves pressure on the microbubble oscillation dynamics in microvessels containing an incompressible fluid (Research Article)

Understanding the dynamics of microbubble oscillation in an elastic microvessel is important for the safe and effective applications of ultrasound contrast agents in imaging and therapy. Numerical simulations based on 2D finite element model are performed to investigate the effect of acoustic parameters such as pressure and frequency on the dynamic interaction of the fluid-blood-vessel system. ...

Staggered dynamics in antiferromagnets by collective coordinates.

Antiferromagnets can be used to store and manipulate spin information, but the coupled dynamics of the staggered field and the magnetization are very complex. We present a theory which is conceptually much simpler and which uses collective coordinates to describe staggered field dynamics in antiferromagnetic textures. The theory includes effects from dissipation, external magnetic fields, as we...

Wall Effect in 3D Simulation Of Same Sized Particles Packing

In this paper, the effects of container size on the porosity of random loose packing of mono size particles have been investigated using an Event Dynamics (ED) based model. Simultaneous effects of square container walls on particles packing and their order are also investigated. Our simulation results indicate higher container size will increase the total packing factor and high density regions...

An Improved Time-Reversal-Based Target Localization for Through-Wall Microwave Imaging

Recently, time reversal (TR) method, due to its high functionality in heterogeneous media has been widely employed in microwave imaging (MI) applications. One of the applications turning into a great interest is through-wall microwave imaging (TWMI). In this paper, TR method is applied to detect and localize a target obscured by a brick wall using a numerically generated data. Regarding this, i...
